Here are some pictures that I took on my trips to the Grenadines over the last 2 years. These islands are not too far from Trinidad and its only an 80 mile crossing to Grenada and the rest of the islands are close to each other after that
Hope you like the pictures

Have you ever been to Bequia? I stopped there a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Beautiful beaches, bars and not trashed like a lot of islands. I thought St Vincent was a tiolet downtown (well... it could have been Grenada, its been a while). Thanks for sharing

Thanks man I havnt spent much time in bequia as yet but I hear its quite nice. The down town of the islands are really not the best but the bars and the beaches are quite nice
Are those boats based in the US - if so how do they have the legs for a crossing from the States?
yea most of the sports fishermen down here in the southern caribbean are from the states. There are one or 2 Captains down here that have been making the trip for years and now with dockwise yacht transport you could get the boat shipped to Martinique or St Thomas which is not too far. The trip is 1800 miles from Florida and one of the old captains in Trinidad made that trip for the first time in a Bertram 31 back in the 1960's. His name was Francis Sa Gomes and I think bertram wrote an article about him calling him the marathon man because of the amount of boats he delivered
was going to ask where the pics of the bajan boats were. dont think alot of boats go down like they used to or if they do go they dont go all together like past years. think they are about 5 or 6 boats down in grenada for the tournament this week but have not heard any news of what bite today.
just looked back and there is that one pic of a barbados boat
a few years ago they brought a glacier bay catamaran with 2 outboards here from florida i think its the only outboard boat to make the trip.
nice pics as well

I dont know of rocky bluff a 43 bert is it in a bad state by chance cus one came down recently from higher up the islands, Antigua i think and it needs some work.. I havnt had the oppertunity to fish bados as yet Im still in university so i dont have much time off You ever been down to Trinidad
fishing in grenada has been hott first day of the tournament was action packed... fist boat has 3 blues second is 3 whiets and a blue (300pts for a white and 500 for a blue) lots of boats with two/ three release
lots of tuna around as well heard a boat got covered up with a 5 header of big tuna with only 3 anglers.
and the bajan tournament is a nice one port st charles is nice just to get the fad numbers out of you all is tough..... thank god for frothy representing us well (i am a trini) haha
I think you get your jollies off torturing yankees with your tropical pics..LOL I like it keep up the good work
haha yea just having some fun and I glad you like the pics. I just like showing the side of the Caribbean most people dont see. I pefer the more secluded anchorages not just the touresty big hotels.
thats good to hear they got some action down there.
getting the fad numbers is just as hard for the locals because most of them are put out by a few idividuals with the fast boats. unfortunately out great government have not realised that they are fantastic things to have out there yet so its going to be many years before they start to spend some money on them.
bernard53 your boat is pair o dice correct?
