Obviously, I couldn't have bought a 2012 but I like a lot of what they have done with this truck. Whether it ever makes it into production is another thing and surely opinions will be very mixed but I like it. Very different and edgy. Let the battle begin.
I think the biggest problem is that it is going to make our boats look outdated and antiquated when towed with the Chief. Can boat designers keep up with auto designers?

What do you mean?
Looks like a Sea Ray with wheels! A "Clorox Bottle" for the road!
Thats a good looking truck right there. HOWEVER when I saw it had the v10 in it I gagged and vomited at the same time. OMG I gavomited!
I want that truck with the diesel option!
Looks like it is a supercharged V10 and Hydrogen engine? ... could be intersting if it ever made it to production. Although I was waiting to see the new Bronco a few years ago and that never made it either.
One thing I do know is that I will need a driver as well as I will be in the rear seats at the bar.
The bed is too narrow & short and if you need to grab something in the bed from the side you need arms like apes! Backing into a loading ramp with that tailgate would present problems too! Towing wouldn't be a problem unless you like to lower the tailgate so you can see down the ramp. And if you do that tailgate would probably hit the winch! The rear bumper won't protect the tailgate, that would be another concern. And with those flip down TV screens in place you can't use the rear view mirror! It is a beast....but for me it would be a beast of burden!
Definitely not a work truck. There are some cool things about it and some not so cool things. Have to give Ford credit for financial responsibility at least. A Ford dealer friend says the new Ford diesel coming out is supposed to be the bomb. A lot of fixes for the problems of the current diesel. One of the things he says he has been told is that the engine was designed with serviceability in mind. Everything that may need servicing is in a place that you can actually get to it. No more removing the cab to work on the truck.
I saw this truck a couple years back and it will never slip my mind. It's the baddest big rig thats yet to come. It wouldn't take me 5 minutes to sell my truck and slide into that beautiful beast.
It was a V10 tri-fuel engine with automatic fuel selection
