My lobster dealer buddy decided with the weather getting cold around here to hold a hot wing challenge to heat things up. So with the help of a restaurant in nearby Essex the challenge was on. This was an eating challenge on not how much wings were devoured or how quickly they were shoved away but how hot the contestants could tolerate. Each round brought out hotter and hotter wings. The last round they were rated in the pepper spray levels!

I told the contestants before the eating began It would be wise to place a roll of toilet paper in the freezer before the event!

The winners! Two were crowned champs after an overtime round. The heat was so hot it was decided to stop the contest at a tie rather than risk a medical emergency!
