She's got twin jet drives, I was watching her spin on her axis and thought she had bow thrusters.... but she doesn't!

My buddy Bill(that's him at the helm) runs her all summer out of Long Wharf. Funny she runs 5 forty five min. high speed adventures through Boston Harbor a day and burns around 90 gallons of fuel a day, she has a top speed of 50knts with 125 passengers and crew, and has the ability to manuver just as a jet ski.

Thanks for the info! I would have thought she would burn more but even with half the passengers.... she's a money maker!

That is only 24 gallons an hour! has to burn more fuel than that - or they are only going fast for 10 minutes per trip

We have two of those in the NYC Harbor, and you aren't off by far when you say ten minutes. And in the NYC area, we have soooo much ferry traffic, they are lucky if they see 35mph for anything over 5 minutes.
The real sad part is when ever I see them, they come over and try to jump my wake....LoL.

It only runs wide open at tops 10-12mins the rest is a tour and they do a small cheesy skit that goes along with the CODZILLA story. I took my wife and daughter out during the tallships weekend in Boston Harbor, we were in the Bow row seats and it was absolutely insane going that fast with all the thousands of boat traffic in the harbor and the wakes reallly knock you around..

Thrill ride. Runs a few miles out to about deer island and back. Does some quick turns and stuff with the jet drives and back to the dock. A buddy of mine ran the sea dogs in chicago. I think they were half hour rides from navy pier. Said they used to have people lined up all day every day. Same sort of boats. Ran out into lake MI for 15 mins and back. He used to have some trick where he' d do a turn and cut the jets and soak everyone. You drive above in a pod so you just watch em all get soaked lol. As mentioned, basically a big jet ski that hold 150 pax or so.
