Default Maimi Monday the 19th
Ill be overnighting in Miami on the 19th of oct, probably staying by the airport. anything going on or interesting site in that area? clubs, resturants, etc?

Its a hotel directly on Ocean Dr, just down from the old Versaci (sp) mansion. It has an outdoor bar that you can sit facing ocean dr and the beach. Good spot for people watching.

I agree with Capt, don't hang out near the airport. Grab a place in South Beach since the rates should be pretty good right now. You will be close to all the good stuff and cabs are easily found.

As mentioned before, all the usual spots on Ocean or Lincoln will be fun. If you are looking for some adult entertainment, grab a cab and tell the driver you want to go to Tootsies

The closest nice area is Coral Gables/South Miami and the Grove - only a couple of miles heading east on LeJeune Road. Lots of good restaurants and bars in all price ranges...Traffic to and from South Beach and Miami could be wicked if you are trying to make a flight. If you want a hotel away from the airport there are a some in these areas as well.
