Yeah, I have ridden the new ones and I get bored on them quickly. They go fast and cut through the rough well, but they are boring. I have a boat if I wanna stay dry and just steer. With a Blaster, you are really riding it and leaning it over in turns and such.
only 8' long and 320lb vs most new "small" ones are 11'+ and over 700lbs
This blaster is totally stock, But I also have a 96 that has the dual carbs, pipe, head, ride plate, impeller and bars.
The engine blew, but I got another one for 400 bucks, so just gotta find the time to swap the parts and install. I haven't ever had them both in the water at once and have probably only ridden them a total of 20 times in 5 years, but they are well worth their price.
I gotta figure out a good way to tow it easily behind the boat, so I can use them much more.
