I've been hit with the worst head cold I can ever remember. And trying to sleep is a challenge. So to fill the time I took another look of photos I didn't post for various reasons and found a few "keepers"! http://capeannimages.blogspot.com/20...it-got-me.html
Was at the VA clinic yesterday gettin results from blood tests etc (). The nurse asked if I wanted a flu shot, Noooooo... Don't think I ever got one without being sick as a dog afterward for a week.
Great shot! You are definitely a master of exposure. It seems as though you do alot of shooting around mid-day. I find it very difficult to get good depth of detail and color in harsh light like that, but you seem to nail it everytime. You make it look easy but I suspect that if you're shooting from your boat, then you're doing alot of moving around to get your shots.

Thanks!
Taking photos from a moving boat is challenge enough but during events like the Schooner Festival you gotta keep your head on a swivle like a linebacker! Spectator boats going every which way as are the schooners with wakes hitting from all directions! Add to that I'm at the helm it can be a little distracting. This year during the Festival it was windy too. Before the start of the tall ship parade I hooked up to an empty mooring waiting for the ships to assemble. I'm standing in the cockpit with camera in hand clicking away when I realized I was dragging the mooring! http://capeannimages.blogspot.com/20...it-got-me.html
