nice job parrott, gotta love longboards and sanders and the smell of 'glass in the morning ha, i thought i saw somthing a bout you putting twins w/ bracket, have you thought about putting a small diesel with a prop pocket, that way you have great fuel burn and with the pocket youll reduce the draft....pretty work tho, might have to come by sometime and take a look and bring some cold ones

Donnie,
You guys are doing great. I have noticed those sanding boards you are using. Did you make those? Also, what type of paper you using?
Have a blessed Thanksgiving.

Parrott,
Tell me you are a wood worker by trade, so I don't feel too bad?

All right parrot that is beautiful work on the wainscoting, but cmon we all have a house! We arent all building a beautiful custom boat out back, tell your wife there are people depending on you for their daily dose of boat building porn. The house must wait!!! Seriously though those panels look great in white, my wife made me do that to our dining room with stained maple last year.

So,how good is that alexseal? Easy to work with? Is it something like bondo or is it an epoxie base? Could someone use it to flair out a 1 time mold?

My cell is 252 876 8589 if your in the neighborhood. Tonight is the first time I've had to work on the boat since last Friday.
I think getting the raised panels complete and painted has bought me some good boat building time.
Got another coat of fairing on tonight so can sand some more and maybe ready to prime and flip soon.
Looking good, I am going to try and come see the hulls before taking off for Cali.

Did you spray with high build Alexseal primer first? I hope so.... We spray high build and then spray fair. Sand and then pull the low spots with the putty you are using. Spray again with spray fair and sand again. Then spray with high build and then flip her over. Think of the high build primer as the bread and the spray fair and the putty is the peanut butter and jelly in a sandwich..... This is straight out of the Alexseal and Awlgrip handbooks.
