Default Wooden Boat Makeover!
This vessel brings back memories when I was a kid. Back in the 60's and early 70's she'd come in for her yearly haul out. Even then I couldn't believe she was a working pilot boat!

When I was in my teens I worked on "the ways". Climbing the rigging was one of my 1st chores painting and working with the hardware. Hull work scrapping & sanding & painting. Caulking, ramming in the oakum was an art and a tedious dirty job with all the tar envolved.
