Default Caption This

this is how you save some money on boat moving. I took this picture today at the boatyard I work at and just have to share it with the world. Can you believe he is going to Oregon in this set up?? YIKES So if you wanna come with a funny caption, or make fun and crack jokes or praise this guy on being so brilliant? Have at it!!!!

The "caption" will likely be in some newspaper, newscast or traffic report somewhere along their route.

Hope there's a travel lift where they're going! Only a rag hauler would do something like that!

Although his rates were extremely competitive, there was just something a little bit shady about "Leroy's Boat Transport". Nigel the Sailor had second, and even third thoughts when he noticed that the license plates on the vehicle were expired and crumpled like they had been in a junkyard. But more to the point, they were from two different states, and the family in the photo pinned under the crucifix on the visor was Hispanic. Leroy wasn't Hispanic.
"Still" Nigel the yachtsman thought to himself "He promised to pay ME thirty cents a mile when we meet up Monday to take the boat."

It actually looks like he already has a rather large trailer behind the truck....

Hopefully he isn't gonna make an ATM withdrawal at the local bank drive-thru...

Doesn't it look like there is another trailer behind the truck? Bigger dual axle. God forbid he loads a boat up on that one...

He needed the tow hitch for his 50' quad Fountender.

I've always said, sailing is great. Just truck the boat to where you want to go a day ahead of time...

He thinking ahead....See this way he doesnt have to fool with parking the truck at the boat ramp. Simply drive the truck right down the boat ramp, crawl out the truck window climb in the sailboat and away he goes! This way he always know where his truck is and it acts as a weighted keel!

The marina wouldn't let him launch any more; so he decided to pick up his boat and go home!
