Yeah some people just like to stir things up. Nothing wrong with this boat at all.

The bracket has about 30" of setback so I figure I need to mount the cavitation plate on the engine about 2" higher than the bottom of the "V". At least thats what I set it up for this weekend. I still have the option with the bolt patterns to move the engine up 4" so so and down 2" on the bracket if I have cavitation issues. Had a friend with a forklift pick up the motor, while mounted to the bracket and we got everything laid out and drilled. Couldn't mount the bracket permanently because the hardward store was out of Stainless bolts. I'll get it mounted permanently next weekend and work on the rear covering board for across the stern. I'll also put up pix tomorrow of what I got done this weekend, I'm too tired to do it right now.

No worries about that other guy. I don't think this is a wet boat at all. Of course, with the wrong operator, any vessel can become a shower for those aboard.

Looks great. Come by the shop sometime. I have a project like yours going on also... We did the demo last night and hauled a truckload of foam and glass to the dump.

Shay, I rode out there I think it was Monday evening and didn't see any lights on. I'll ride out again this evening after I get in from fishing. Its hard to find in the pitch black. haha.

I put up some new pictures on the other site. It is hard to get work done when it is getting dark at 5:00 and I get off work at 3:30. I'm tackling a lot of the minor stuff now and hoping to get it ready for painting soon.

Yea. It is slowing down now. It is hard for glue to kick in temperatures below 60* but I've did some glassing some nights and then it went down to the 40's. All the rain lately hasn't been helpful either but whenever I can, I'm plugging along at it. I got the stern covering board glued and glassed in last night and will do the trim around it as long as it doesn't start raining this evening. After that, I'll start on the front anchor locker. I haven't found a door the right size yet, I may just cut out an opening, get it glassed in, then cut it out more once I find the size I want.
