Default Whaler Commercial Div. still making money

Having my morning coffee when the testing started. Nice "junket" for someone. Hope they get to stay and see the Shuttle later this morning. Almost forgot....there were two of those rigs out there this morning...identical twins.

Twin F350s on the stern, nice.

Smith Mountain Lake has a Virginia state park, I suspect the boats must have been commissioned by the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation or Virginia's Department of Game and Inland Fisheries.

Can anybody tell me what the smoke coming from below the water line is? It is clearly visible in the 4th pic more towards the front. I assume it is the exhaust for the hose motor, but why below the water line?

GF...I zoomed in on the pics and those are 300's on the back. Still plenty of HP for scooting around a lake.

It is the exhaust for the gas powered motor for the fire hose. It is usually mounted below the water line for different reasons. Black exhaust gunk dripping down the side of the boat is not too pretty. Quieter is another reason. Why they did it im not sure....

I too was wondering if Florida also had a Smith Mountain lake. Used to fish there every weekend.
