Billy, thanks again for the test ride. You've got a great product and hope all goes well in these tough times.

For all those interested, I wrote a review of the test ride in the boating section.

It's a winner in every category...fit/finish...cockpit layout...overall design...the ratio of rpms to mph...around 3 grand gets you around 30 mph, 4 grand and you're around 40, then 50...and 6,000 rpms and you've got over 60 mph breeze blowin' by...AWSOME!!...and those sleek double hulls slice and dice the oncoming nasties like a Ginzu Chef!!...
Good luck in Miami...your 33 will be the Belle of the Ball no doubt...that racy blue hull really sets this one off...
What slip you got in Miami?...

We are gonna be in slip 321 at the Marriott. Thanks for all your help

Great Looking rig!!!!! Curious how did the final weight of the hull compare to the cold molded original? Also do you think the F350s' are the ideal power plant or will the new F300s' be an option with their weight savings less 100 hp.

The weight of the new glass hull is 9950 lbs with half fuel. Thats with the 350's, hardtop, etc. Honestly we never weighed a completed cold molded hull. The water line appears to be the same and the speed and economy are very, very similar. So the new FRP hulls may be slightly heavier, but not enough to make an appreciable difference in performance.

The 350's are strong. The new 300's should also be strong as the 300 suzukis are a good match. The 350's let you have a high cruise of 45-50mph.

I haven't been behind the wheel of a Freeman w/twin 300s, so I can't say...but the 350s in combination w/Billy's hull really are an incredible mix...the word EFFORTLESS describes it well...EFFORTLESS outta the hole and then EFFORTLESS throughout the entire range of performance...there's just no feel that the engines are working except for the STRONG acceleration you feel on advancing the throttles and the gale-force wind in your face if you poke your head out from behind the console at WOT
