Here is some pictures of the 27CC, 27 Chesapeake, 35 Offshore and 36 Chesapeake. I did not get any of the 22CC but that was a nice little center console and not a bad price either.
Here is some of the pix, I wish I could have gotten some pix before it got very crowded but this is the best I got.
One of Greg (B-Faithful)'s 27 Chesapeake that was there. That thing has plenty of room for me to walk around in the pilot house without ducking, and I am 6'2".
And here is the pics of the one I love, the 36 Chesapeake with the 480hp Cummins and electronic controls, bow thruster with dual controls, genset and 16k btu A/C. The captains chair and bench seats in the helm were so freakin comfortable that I wanted to grab a couple beers and sit in there relaxing for a while.
Boat show special for the 27 chesapeake was 74,800 for boat, motor, AND trailer! with all the options that were shown on my boat. Some of the options were:
Dinette
tackle center in the end of the dinette
rocket launchers
cockpit steering station
full platform and dive ladder with bracket
full enclosure
extra rod holders
bottom paint
Of course Judge is a custom builder so you can add to or take away options to fit your needs and or price range.
The 27CC was FULLY loaded with all the options and was like 59k for boat, motor, and trailer I believe (I would have to double check!)
The photos of the boats, especially the 35 express and 36 chesapeake, dont do the boats justice.
The 22cc had a 150 Honda on the back. With the fuel efficient warped hull design that Judge uses, a 150 pushes the boat around 40mph at with and will cruise close to 30 getting unbelievable fuel mileage.
Judge is a Honda and Zuke dealer and services those two engines. However will hang any motor the customer desires.
Great shots gillagorilla! I appreciate you taking them. The main display area was the finishing bay and I see you have a few shots from the assembly bay.
Here are a couple of shots of the other building where the lamination takes place (if someone emails me more I will try to post them). There are only 3. the first one is of the 27 mold and the second is a 22 hull just "popped" from the mold. The third is a 27 Hull in the mold.. ahh. smooth solid glass
The fuel burn for the 36 with the 425hp cummins is around 11. something GPH and around 27-28mph. I have read that the 27 Chesapeake is around 3mpg at cruise.
They do build some very efficient boats along with them being beautifull.
What's the 27 center console rigged for? Something like a single 250 or 300? Price?
BTW, the price I mentioned above was for a fully loaded 27CC with transom fish box and custom T-top. Judge does have a completed boat still listed on their site that has some nice options like head in the console and Smith T-top that they are looking to move for under 50k with a Honda 225. With my honda 225 the boat hits 40mph. I am sure the CC version is even faster. The hulls are very efficient and do very well with the single power. I am not sure if a deposit was taken on the boat at the open house or not. Email me if you are interested and I will find out. The boat is on the specials page here: http://www.judgeyachts.com/specials.html
On the I saw I didn't like was one wa rigged at the helm with the controls to port of helm. This would feel unorthodox to me nd danger of someone walking by and hitting the throttles.
wart while it is not my boat and I dont know for sure. I would imagine that the throttles are on that side of the wheel for the capt to be able to turn around and work the throttles easier when trying to get a big fish in. If the throttles were on the starboard side of the wheel, they are more in the corner and probably a little more difficult for the capt to work them as easily.
In my biased opinion, it is one of the best made, nicest looking 35 Expresses on the market. That one is about to go to Dare Marine in VA Beach!
