Here is one of GRHRCH David's Golden King Sampson. Sam was the UKC's First Grand Champion Golden Retriever in the UKC. Sam is gone now for a few years but certainly not forgotten.
And my current pal Train. He has run AKC field trials and AKC hunting tests.
Both Great Hunters. Train is now 10 and is enjoying retirement and I will be looking for another pup in the near future.

50,000,000 Dogs in the United States, and lucky me....I got the dumbest one! Here he is:
You really think a dog that lays around sleeping all day waiting for you to feed him, walk him, play with him, love on him,
and take him for boat rides is DUMB????!!!!
Smart dog in my book, maybe the owner is a sucker! (aren't all of us dog owners for that matter?)

I've always said that he's either really dumb, or he's smart enough to act that way so I don't expect much of him!
Here's my last dog....now this one was smart. I really miss him:
Salty......what kind of dog is that? Looks like a very dark Golden Retriever(but I am thinking its not).
Good lookin pooch!

Magilla Gorilla
(breed: Cane Corso, aka: Italian Mastiff). I hear all the time..."that's the biggest damn pitbull I've ever seen!"
Last great act of defiance...the little Chihuahua is holding his own here
She was rescued from "the hood" at 11 months. She's 115 and still growing but really just a big baby. Great with people, especially kids and other dogs (not so much with cats). Very protective when need be...she has an uncanny sense of when something isn't right. I've had several run in's with aggressive unleashed dogs and also with some thugs while out walking at night. She's sent them all packing.
Can't keep her out of the water. She will retrieve all day.
She also likes to body surf
I never dreamed of owning a dog this big or ugly, but as a favor to a co-worker accepted her temporarily until he could find a suitable home. Yeah, I'm a sucker...the rest is history.
In the mean time my neighborhood kinda went "tits up" along with the the economy and housing market. Forclosures, condemned and abandoned houses, MS-13 moving in down the street, and thugs from nearby apartments using the neighborhood school yard to hang out at. Not so bad having an ugly mean looking dog after all.
Other variations of the breed for reference (not my goofball)
weird, almost cat like...
Evil Incarnate...
