Dax the German Shorthair Pointer. He is a rescue of sorts since he failed out of hunting and then pestered his second owners to death! We got him at about 14 months old (his 3rd home not counting the breeder!) and now he is 5 going on 1.
In the Christmas Parade
Waiting for his next job

This is a great thread. Its neat to see all the different breeds that boaters own. Its much more of a mix than I thought.
JKil1 if you don't have a wheel you can't upload directly to THT, but you can upload it to a picture sharing site and post the link so that it appears. That is what I did. Myfishpix is what I used and its really easy.
My dog just passed away a few days ago. Tabby was a Siberian Husky and 13 years old and has been with me since she was 8 weeks old. We have another Husky who is 10 1/2 and I think he's feeling it more than me.
I feel sorry for anyone that breaks into his house or back yard. The Dutch Shepherd is in the house and he has 2 Bull Mastifs in the back yard.
No shortage of large piles of crap in his yard.
The funny thing is that Kars is a horrible watch dog at home... As soon as I put him in the car for work, he turns into a maniac, but when we're at home, he doesn't even bark if someone comes up to the house.... Now, if my wife is home alone, he's different (which I prefer), but all in all, he's "turned off" when he's home... Each dog is different, though. I had a belgian malinois work dog before him that would bark if someone was walking two miles away....
My lawn guy loves the piles in my yard... I used to try to shovel them and get rid of them, but that lasted about 2 months... lol...

So sorry for the loss of your beloved Husky. They are a part of the family.
Griffin doing what he does best, Chew on stuff. His other talents are chasing tennis balls knocking crap off the coffee table with his tail. Luckily he limits most of his chewing to stuff that he is supposed to chew on. I got him last January, a friend of mine found him, and after being unable to locate his owner, I adopted him. Oh, and he really loves riding on the boat.
The boat picture was taken a year ago today, and the one on the couch was take today.
Here is our twelve week old Griffon. I have also included a pic of hunting with her father, to show how much they look different as puppies compared to when they get their adult coat.
