Jack is indeed a handsome specimen, and his doggles are cool. But, I gotta tell you, now I know he's got a female owner, apparently, and we gotta cut him some slack for that, but his Mandog Card is in serious danger of revocation as long as he's wearing that collar. That pink/lavender is WAY too gay for a bad boy like that....unless he's a Rainbow Dog. Can't really see his claws very well in the pix; hope they aren't painted to match the collar.

You can tell in the first pic, he's not happy about it.

The picture is deceiving .... his collar was actually a very manly RED He had a Blue collar (which I prefer) but he chewed it up one night I took it off of him and left it on the coffee table. He's no dummy.... he will chew up any leash or collar within his grasp (he likes to run free ). When I went to get him a new collar the only one big enough for him was the Red one. He recently got a new collar in BLUE so he's in no risk of losing his mandog card
Jack is about 100 - 105 lbs.... essentially a mini moose so sometimes I have limited choices when shopping for him at smaller pet stores, but I assure you... I would never put a pink collar on him
Jack hates those Doggles... but I make him wear them when he is sticking his head out the car window so nothing gets slammed into his eyes. Now that I have a boat... he's going to have to wear them while out on the water as the UV rays can be just as bad for a dog as a human. It will be interesting to see who wins that battle.... I fear it's not looking good for me

105? Big pup. Well, blue and red pass muster. We lost a harness to our guy's mouth the same way; he got a bath, since it was off, harness got washed while he dried, we went to bed, in A.M., harness was chewed through in two places. Sending a message?
Yeah, the doggles are probably a lost cause in the boat. I never knew about UV and dogs, but it makes sense. They are about 95% the same as us, biologically.
A little up date on Missy the lab that was ran over.
At this point, she is able to get up on her own and go outside as needed. We are still unable to leave her outside due to the fact that we think she would not be able to protect herself from harm. Changes we had to do was put down carpet runners thru out the house. We have wooded floors and she wasn't able to stand up on them without busting her butt. We also had to take down her Kennel which is her safe place becouse of no way of getting her in and out of it. So we did put her bedding down were her kennel was and she adjusted. Sleep, that is one thing she does good. When she does, its a real deep sleep like I never seen before on any aminal. Her balance is still way off,but that is improving a little every day. Now the question is will she be able to duck hunt come this fall. My daughter is still telling me only time will tell. In the last few days, she started playing with her toys, standing and eating/drinking,but still does loose her balance and starts doing the circle thing till she realines herself to the bowls. There is still hope she will recover for a active life. we do have to spend alot of extra time with her. Thank God I work shift hours and the wife is able to come home for lunch when I am working.
On a side note. Most people would of gave up on a dog like this by now,but this is my baby that was given to me two years ago on dads day to replace an old friend that I had to put down due to the big "C" that ate him up inside.
3 year old GSD, 110 pounds of energy and mischief taking a break from his favorite activity, Frisbee catching. If it's food he will eat it, if it moves he will chase it. Looks ferocious but not a mean or aggressive bone in his body.
