The customer wanted full length spray rails. he likes to wahoo fish and the extra lift will allow him to plane off at 17-20 MPH and have better forward visibility.

They are put on with machine screws through solid glass chines.

Here are some new pictures of the first deck out of the mold. Next week we should have the deck on the hull and start rigging. One of the pictures shows the bottom of the hatch recievers. Notice that they are all connected by a fiberglass channel and the water ends up in the corner scupper boxes. This should be a lot easier than a bunch of fittings and hoses and clamps. The deck is one level from the cabin entrance to the transomn and averages over ten feet wide at the floor and over 20 feet long. We can put together a bunch of different layouts with the same deck. Semi - custom is an appropriate term since it is a molded part.

not to sound weird about this but from what I hear this guy builds an awesome boat. He was hands on involved in the building of one of the triple engine CC that I will not name but is very nasty (not Inv. His tortuga looks sweeeeeeet.

I had a 32 Stuart angler with a similar layout. the only difference is it had inboard gas. I regret that I did not repower the boat with outboards and a bracket. Nice set up

I work in the same area that this boat is in. I've seen the work Rob's done to this thing from day one. This guy did not miss a thing! That boat is going to be NASTY. Those guys are a pedigree of boat builders, nice work!

He was one of the founders of Yellowfin, and yes he does know how to design and build a top quality product.
And I also agree with the above this boat is going to be a BEAST. I think it would be the perfect Bahama layout. If you have not seen this boat in person you can't appreciate how much room and storage it has.

The 31 bertram is on a shop trailer from Mastry Engine Center in Saint Pete. We do their refit and diesel conversion work. It worked out that we were able to do all of our work with the hull on the trailer.

I went by the shop this afternoon and this boat has so much storage its not funny. Its going to be a very versatile layout with the hardtop thats going on it. Really theirs nothing like it in the market place, it should be a winner.

Catch Up came by today as we were installing the Stainless Refrigerators and Freezers, 4 total. Here are some pictures of the Freezers and the bench seats. The customer likes to sleep out on deck when he is in the islands. These are custom fabricated out of composite panels we make in the shop and put together with Plexus structural adhesive. Everything is Gel Coat finished on the top deck.

We are installing 12 volt AC for the cabin on those hot august nights with no wind.

More pictures of the rigging coming at the end of the week. Engines and electrical mainly.

I went by Yesterday to see if the motors were mounted and they were. I am really curious to see what performance numbers she turns. 900hp should push her into the low 50's maybe? This boat would be perfect for a single or twin diesel application.
