It looks like a great hull and deck to build with a bridge and lower station. Is the hull mold new or has it been used to build boats in the past? I love the lines.
The mold is used. It was originally a Pearson sportfish designed by Ray Hunt. I changed the sheer towards the back end to soften her up. The deck design is very flexible as far as the layout. We can build just about any design that a customer wants. The stringer and bulkhead placement allows either outboards on a bracket or diesels ( single or twin ).
I am considering building her as a Day Boat with a house and an open or closed bulkhead. Since the walkways are so wide it would be like having a super wide pilot house with elevated walkaround.
few more pics. We should paint the hull in the next few days.. Just waiting for the weather to calm down. The live well is in . we figure it is about 90 gallons. I took one of the pictures standing on top of the hard top. The cockpit is huge.
Right now Robert does not have a web site, this is hull number one. After its complete you will I'm sure see a web site. This hull really is going to be a fishing machine with loads of fish box space and a livewell that you could swim in. The size of the boat is not well represented in these photos it is a big 34, really big.
Rob she is huge.....makes those zukes look tiny. Bow looks sweet, not a fan of the rail but its his boat. Cant wait to see the finished tower, and she looks like triple yamahammer 350s or 400s would were built for your boat.
There certainly is room for 4. I think she will run fine with 900 horses. Here is a pic of the boat finished with bottom paint. We are splashing her on Wednesday and running to Miami on Friday. I will put up some numbers from the trip when I get back and some new pics.
We took her to the water today. Everything went smooth and the boat ran great. She jumps up on plane instantly. I was surprised since she is so wide. I will be taking her to Key Biscayne to the owner by water during the week and will get some performance and fuel burn numbers. This boat will virtually live in the Bahamas since the owner put @ 800 hours a year on his current boat.
we drove by the shop just now and saw she wasn't in quarters. she looks beautiful on the water, nice work man! i love the layout of this boat. you can hold a week's worth of bait in that livewell, and the fishbox is HUGE.
I see you are in Miami. The boat will be there later this week. Send me a PM and you can come over to Key Biscayne and check her out. I will have some performance numbers from the trip to Miami.
