I went to Italy for 3 weeks in the summer of 2007. We did the tourist thing, but also stayed in a hotel only 1 night the whole trip because we stayed with my wife's family. We had an unbelievable time. We are planning on going again in 2010. I have been meaning to post some of the more than 300 picture we took, but never got around to it. With all this east wind I am a little bored so here it goes...

Sicily was also quite beautiful...different atmosphere from the mainland...

Very nice. Thanks for sharing. You can easily tell the Amalfi coast - was about to confim with you when I saw you mention it about half way through. I always love seeing pics of those houses built in terraced fashion up the hillside!

Incredible pictures. I went to Italy when I was 2, too bad I was too young. I need to go there someday. Thanks for posting and looks like you had a great time!
