Default Mobile people-is this Eddie Smiths house?

Another Fowl River question for the guys from the Mobile area. I've heard a lot of stories about this Eddie Smith character and his "palacial" mansion on Fowl built by the McDonalds people I think. Well, this is the only "palacial" place I see besides Bellingrath. This his? Its for sale I see

Nope, that one's not eddie's either. That house belongs to one of the fellows that used to own or still does own Mobile Bolt & Screw (or something like that). The Sonneborne house (where Eddie Smith lives/lievd) is one of the few houses thats actually built out over the water. Its on the West side of the river a few houses up from the one you took the photo of.

No, this Eddie Smith is a local guy. He used to own the Hooters Fountain and it was reposessed after a gun chase up DIP.

Eyecatcher - That house is nicer than Eddie's, expectations are a little high (it's a cool place over the water but not really a mansion). From that house keep heading up the river, and going from memory, I believe you'll go around a turn that makes you heading west and then turn back to the east and the house is (as previously stated) over the water inside that 2nd turn on left side when you curve back to the east. It has lots of decks on both levels, you can see lower level is pretty open, and their are a couple boat slips underneath.

I was trying to find pics online, and for those interested in details about the house and Eddie Smith...

It is bigger than I thought, but when looking at I don't think mansion like the pic above.
