Default Harbor & River

The Annisquam river is a tidal river cutting most of Cape Ann from the mainland. The river and canal provide a shortcut between Massachusetts Bay & Ipswich Bay. The vehicular draw bridge(Blynman Bridge) is at the Gloucester harbor ends avg. 10,000 openings per year making it one of the busiest in the world.

Thanks again Jay, I never tire of seeing pictures of the NE area and the old paint factory just fascinates me every time I see it

Your ability to capture an image is perfect. Every image posted I know right where it was taken as I've spent lots of time in Gloucester. Great work.

Thanks "d" ! I had to take time out from the boat this weekend for my niece's & God daughter's wedding!

I don't do weddings but I had to take some for her....It was good "people practice"!

SAMAY is almost as much as a fixture in the harbor as the "Paint Factory" and the Fishermen's Memorial!
