Scared the heck out of our Golden Retriever, Charlie. Didn't do a thing for the birds.

Amazing how many of those things I see covered head to toe in bird poop.

They work for very short periods of time.

They work better if you do not use them to hang dock lines from.

I put one on the bow of my boat under the boat shed at home, birds were crapping all over both of my boats. Did not work when just sitting on the boat. Then I took a string and let it hang from the middle of the shed, no more birds after that. so I guess it has to be moving in the wind to work. Been hanging under my shed for almost a year and no more bird crap.

worked for me after I set it up on a short pole in my rocket launchers. The rocking action of the boat keeps it spinning in different positions.

I had one and damn near fell over laughing one morning when my sister's friend was sitting on the porch watching it. As I was walking out the door, she told me to be quiet because the owl had something in it's sights! I was crying so hard with laughter.

Worst thing of all, was that she was serious!

Also, a friend of mine said he threw a fake rattlesnake on the deck of his boat and it worked lilke a a charm.

add a couple of rubber snakes along with hanging owls or orange bouys-the combination works great

I don't have a problem with seagulls. These guys, white herons, blue herons and the rest couldn't care.

They seem to work for keeping squirrels out of my garage. Saw them at WestMarine for $25 after I had already bought 2 from Walmart for $8 each.

Yeah...but everyone knows the $8 Walmart owls won't work as well as the $25 Westmarine owls near the water

Marine owls work best near the water.
