Reading your post brought back many memories! I used to fish that touney with great old friends in the late 80's. What have the prizes gotten up to? Was there a calcutta or biggest Mako?
I also remember the tourney to have a great party after the captains meeting. Sometimes I didn't feel so good the morning after.
hey guys great pictures .I went out jones inlet last weekend and there was a helicopter taking pictures of the boats going offshore. Anyone know how to get in touch with them for the pictures ?
Ocean Outfitters, know him well. The boat is custom built, 42 feet I believe but not sure of the maker. It took him about 2 years to build, he started with a bare bones hull and did most of the work himself and with friends. I personally have not been on it but I see the boat almost every day.
