Ray Hunt designed hull . It will be a 34 Tortuga when finished. It is being built for a customer that spends a lot of time in the bahamas. flush deck cuddy forward with 80 inch bench seats and dual consoles with leaning posts. Made to be self sufficient for over nighting away from the marinas if he wants to.

500 gallons fuel , 100 water , 100 livewell, massive storage, fishboxes,freezer , frig, etc.

Classic Ray Hunt design. Looks like a Bertram 25 bottom...

She looks very much like a huge Conch in person. The strakes are the same. They have very little warp to them compared to most. This keeps the bow from flying too much.

Nice lines. Thanks for posting the pics, and keep them coming - sounds like an interesting lay-out. What is the beam & deadrise?

No steps. Conventional v bottom with 19 degree deadrise at stern.

The shearwater molds are still for sale last time I checked.

New pictures at the ramp. She is still about 3000 pounds light across the length. Once the weight is added it will bring the bow down and get the chine under almost to the CG.

This boat is getting triple 300 suzuki's per the customer. The layout can accept twin diesel, single diesel or outboards.

The beam is 13 feet at it's widest point. The good part is that the transom is almost 12 feet wide. The boat is going to have a huge amount of deck space with a one level floor from the cabin entrance to the transom. The distance from the transom to the front bulkhead is almost 20 feet.

The layout can be modualr as far as seating and consoles, etc. I dont think anyone else really offers that without going full custom. It will seem like the typical 45 footer when you are standing in the back.

For this boat to be stable at rest it has to be built heavy . 16000 pounds will be the total weight when she is full and loaded .
