I had to move and reorganize photobucket so I lost a lot of pitures on the thread but if anyone remembers...

Finaly got it back from the body shop and below is the final paint. I will be changing out the rims at some point and getting a good stance for the car but for now it's good enough. Still have to put the interior in.

just went thru the whole thread,,awesome,,different paint scheme with the side,,never seen one like that which makes even better....

Only one problem,,,got me thinkin about doin one,,in the garage still have an old pair of the cragar deep dishes to start with,,hmmmmm

sounds like you gonna have some fun on saturday nites.that's a good choice on the 383 and turbo 400.as for gears the 3.73 gears are good for wkend dragin.had the same car back in the day.stroked and poked 350,turbo400,
and 373's in the back.have fun tearin azz on those so called muscle cars of today!

Actually, I put a Big Block 396 bored out to a 406 in it with the 350 trans and 3.42 gears for the street.

Very nice! I was just in the garage working on my 68 Camaro.. I have a tuned port injected small block 400 thats bored and stroked. I never drive it and as a result, one of the injectors stuck requiring a major pain in the a$$ overhaul of the fuel injection system... Fortunately, I am in the final process of putting it back together. Its in need of a detail but that will come in short order.



I decided to take a break and check out THT when I came across your thread. Let see some more pics!!

Nice job on the rebuilt.Ive been working on a 71 super vw
for the last year.this was the first one I ever done.It can be be painful
at times but when its said an done it worth every penny.Again looking good.

Smitty the interior is gonna bring out alot.also gives it the new car smell.
JC whitney has some good carpet an accesories selection.Post some interior pics.
