I am not sure how to caption below each pic, so I will describe each as best I can, then post. Each photo is labeled with the boat name, so you can match my text with each pic.
Last weekend was the get together in Palm Beach. One of the Rybo daughters is going to publish a coffee table book about all of the boats. She came up with this get-together so that the photography could be accomplished. It was a lot of fun seeing all of the old boats together in one place - definitely some interesting people on hand.
LIZZY BEE is the newest Rybovich launch. It's 53' and is designed to look like one of their 1960's expresses. Don't let the appearance fool you - it's rigged for hard core fishing and the interior is stunning. My overall favorite.
KITTIWAKE is hull #4, built in 1949. In really nice shape
RELEASE is a 1960 30' express. In incredibly good condition and really neat to see in person.
OTHER LOVE was beautiful. Was originally called LOOT LAM and was a well known boat in these parts
CATCH ONE is a 1966 53' owned by Mike Matlack of Gamefisherman. Very low hour boat with a great interior
CHRISTINE is a 1955 36' dayboat. The running shots were taken by me on Lake Worth. Cool boat
TWENTY is a 43' built in 1955. It was a long-time charter boat in Venezuala before coming back here. Beautiful shape
SEA CHASER - One of the bigger and older boats there. In incredibly good condition
SEA HUT - like Sea Chaser. Built in 1970 and fished hard, but beautiful.
CHARMER - a 32' walkaround built in 1985. Great single-hand boat
JIM JIM - a 52' built in 1963. One of the few cruisers they ever built, but rigged for fishing (full tower, riggers, chair). Talk about maintained with a trust fund - beautiful condition
BULL - a 56' built in 1969. Pretty typical, but note the handicap elevator to the bridge. Only two owners since new
LONE EAGLE - a 53' built in 1967. Very nice
DREAM CATCHER - a 53' also built in 1967. The original owners just sold it when their new Rybovich was completed (see CASTABAR at
www.rycomarine.com)
ANEJO - a 45' built in 1969. Doesn't look like it, but it's a charter boat. It sees a lot of action
SEA HUT AND BULL - a side-by-side shot of them. Both girls approaching their 40th birthdays.
I have other pics. Will post them as I find them
Enjoy
