Are those sprayrails overkill or will they actually perform better than your typical sprayrails. Anyone ever been on one of these?

I fish on my buddies 39 often, i can say without a doubt that the spray rails should be standard equiprtment, his onld 39 didnt have them and it was wet, the new one has it and its 10 times better.

As for checkbook, they are not cheap, custom is custom...

As for speed, they are not a 38 fountain with 4 -350's, i am pretty sure they are heavier and the 39 has no step, but his 39 with 3 - 250 vrods will do 55+ and he has a cabin with a/c, tv, huge bow pulpit with 2 anchors, life raft, huge t top, so i think its decent. I also fish a 34 fountain regurally with 3-250 vrods, great ride, but 65+ is scary to me

The only model I've been on is the 39..Great boat, good ride, very custom and in line with the upper tier of it's competitors. 4-300's full of fuel and I cant remember how many people went 67mph. They use to make the boats for Homeland security. Nor-Tech is now building their 43 with 2 480hp Yanmar's for the last 2 years as the Gov't contracts. Jeff

39' with Quad 300's is very nice! If I were to go with Quads i'd get no less than the Vrod 350's......These boats fly!
