We rode on the 39' Topfish twice. The fit and finish is very nice. My buddy is getting one priced out this week. I have tried my best to get him to go with the 39' Seavee or the 42 Yellowfin, but he loves the speed. The 350 Verodo's midrange torque is very impressive. At 72mph we were burning over 100gph.
The 350's are also a good bit louder than the 300's
Through a friend, I had the opportunity to go out on the "Top Fish" at the show this year and last year. The difference was dramatic. This years boat was supposedly heavier but the ride was so much better with the Verados. Last years version had (I think) quad Mercury racing 300 2-strokes. With the Verados, the boat is much quieter and the ride much nicer. The power was impressive. Going 80 mph in a boat in Biscayne Bay was quite a thrill. I'm not a cigarette type of boater, but they make a very impressive product. The attention to detail and quality really stand out.
