I always love these pics, Jay. Reminds me of the trips up there when my boat was getting built, first test drive out of Browns, past the paint factory etc. Very cool town.

How am I going to shovel the driveway with a drink in one hand? Because my plan is to have a drink in my hand pretty much the whole time I am there.

Great shots! I grew up in Gloucester, live in Charleston, SC now....very nice to see some familiar sites from home. Sounds like you have other threads with photos...how can I find them?

Just got back from Gloucester. Never thought I would stand on a beach covered in snow up to my shins. I was right in the middle of that storm that started Friday and it was a ball. Loved the snow, different for a Florida boy. Lunch in Rockport and hanging out on Long Beach watching guys surfing...yes surfing.

Surfing is a year long sport in Gloucester. In the summer the surfers arn't allowed on public beaches before 5:00 pm,they come out in droves for an early evening ride.

And some days it's just too dangerous. My niece captured this monster wavewith her cell phone:

There were some big waves Saturday afternoon. They looked like they had wet suits, not dry suits.
