Great looking boats, only thing I did not like is the colorful dash with white lowrance gps cover right in the middle, somebody needs to paint that thing

they drop one boat 300K, the carver!!
i would never pay 65K for a ski/wake boat
You know those boats can not go in salt water!
i'd never pay 65k for a ski boat either, but they CAN go in salt water. You just need to do 3 times the amount of maintenance. I have a malibu response (which is the base hull for that corvette boat). with FWC and replacing all the non stainless steel parts, mine has been in the salt for 7 years now. sure it doesn't look anywhere as nice as an all freshwater used boat, but for me it is worth the sacrafice for me. i am able to roll out of bed and ski every morning (in the summer time anyway) on glass, even though it is salt water.

ya your right but the people over here will not do it. i remember on boat, i think a mastercraft or centurion had plastic elbows on the v-drive. i was like WTF, if i spent 65k it better be all stainless. 65K and barley handle 3 foot chop!!! I'm glad i got the Grady!!!
COOL BOAT, running an indmar right?

yeah, there are a lot of parts on ski boats that make me laugh. for example in the Malibu, the stereo head unit is under the drivers armrest. well every time the driver skis, he gets back in the boat, sits to drive, and rests his wet arm (especially when wearing a wetsuit or drysuit) on the armrest. duh, the head units are always get soaked, and the STOCK unit is a non marinized Sony. Also, seat sliders on the drivers seat are plain old steel. they were out in about 1/2 a season. also any screw (dash, glove box etc are NOT stainless). same with the pistons (or whatever they are called) that hold engine cover and seat hatches open). So after one season, I just replaced all mine with all stainless. I think now you can actually buy "salt water version" for all their models. I'd pay for that upgrade even if I was on fresh water.
and 3 foot chop, FORGET, mine can't even handle 1 very well - some of the bigger wake board boats (the 65k plus ones) are better, but still not designed for it.
and yes, i do have the indmar, Monsoon II - fuel injected - 325 HP. I think the newer ones crank out 345. definetly a nice engine. very smooth, good low end, and starts EVERY time (knocking on wood). since new, it has never failed to start. I have only it done oil changes, and replaced one 2.50 sending unit in 7 seasons. the boat is quick, not super fast (tops out about 49, but that is all the hull is designed to do). pulls through a ski course at 36 with just barely feeling the skier behind the boat.
that said, i will probably own this one for a couple more years, keep the current 18 foot CC I have (river i live on has both low water and low fixed bridges). When kids are both out of school (4 more years to go), i'll be packing up south, selling these 2 boats, and buying a good fish/dive boat, and probably hanging up the ski (and bare feet )
