Default My first twin engine boat

Recently purchased this Scarab and after a little TLC, here she is. I have always had bass boats, this is my first twin engine. The fish pictures are from the first trip out of Galveston, texas, all caught on light tackle. Ignore the brown water, that's the local river, it's always muddy. Tell me what you think. Thanks. Oh, the little fellow is first mate.

Congrad on the boat.Big difference from a bass boat!Been there done that. Now,do check out about Kingfish, you don't want to feed to much to your kids if any at all.Once you do,if you don't keep them in the future, just tail them for release.

I bet you couldn't hide the smile on your face. Nothing like the sound of twins as they start tacking up. Good luck and enjoy your new addiction.

Is that the 26'? I've been pondering the idea of getting one myself but they are hard to find in this area

Ahhh....a nice 26 Scarab Sportster. This one is powered nicely with twin 150s, I believe Wellcraft rigged these boats with a single 225 or 250. Whats the top end?
