maybe not quite...only threw a handful of times. this was maybe my 4th or 5th throw.

12 ft. calusa...friggin heavy. i hope i can get it to open all the way. so many friggin bugs out, so i didnt get to practice too much.

nice throw. My Uncle has a 20 footer weighing close to 20 lbs for a quick sink rate. He's Hawaiian so he's big enough to throw that thing. Its a lifestyle here so we all learned at age 5-10. It does take a lot of practice. Watchya gonna catch with it?

I wish I could get my 6 footer to open past 3 feet. Actually I do ok in the yard. It's off the bow of my boat with a school of pogies below when I start throwing bananas.

I always thought they should make a reloadable air type deal for nets like they use to catch bad guys and birds. Takes the skill out!
