I went to Camp Sea Gull... 35 years ago! Lerned my first bit about boating there, and have been a boater (and actually had one) ever since.

The Joy Boy, Prams, Whalers, Lightings... Thanks for bringing back the memories!

Nice pictures. The mouth of the Neuse is kinda LARGE around the area you were in..funny, it looks docile in the pictures, but as you know it can be rough as a cob when the wind kicks up. Thanks for posting.

That mouth of the Neuse is quite a bit further out than those pictures. It is wide there and can certainly be rough but it is wider and rougher at the mouth.

I figured the pictures of the camp would spark some memories for a few. I feel blessed to live in such a beautiful area!!!

I'm kinda baised too.. Those pics sure bring back a bunch of memories. Spent 2 weeks every summer there at my grandparents about a mile down river from Seagull. Learned to water ski and fish there. Thanks for sharing!!

Just installed new compass last week and the boat has Lenco's with indicator switch. I would not run this boat again without tabs honestly. I did for a year + and still loved the boat but tabs make it ride awesome!!!
