Default The dinghy that can save your life...

This is a new project that we are working on and it is really impressive & well thought out. It can be rowed, sailed or piloted with an outboard motor. It also functions as a liferaft and the only one I believe that you can actually propel yourself in a specific direction. All the necessary gear such as a sea anchor, exposure canopy, sailing rig (including sail, mast and tiller), and safety equipment are all stowed in large watertight storage compartments in the hull. It is just under 8 feet long, 4.5 feet wide and weighs just under 130 pounds.

Would certainly go well with Crocs.

Are you advertising for Eastbay or your yacht delivery service on your post?

that is an interesting idea. liferaft and dingy in one. thanks for sharing. I know there is much testing to be done but can this ever replace the "liferaft in the can" concept.

no. I wouldn't buy an Eastbay. and I was working a crew.

I think your tender is a pretty slick idea for the record. Where are they built?

I think they come in yellow, white and maybe red.
They are made by a company in Portland, ME. I don't have any affiliation with the company- we just do some work for them....

Any thoughts on making a larger model?

Really cool product, always a fan of multi-tasking.....

Can they pack one into a 2' X 3' X 9" valise?

Seriously, it does look like a good idea.
