Beautiful is an understatement!
That is the Volvo IPS boat right? Where are the engines located? From the pics, I can't make out any hatches in the cockpit.
Anybody know?
Never mind... saw another thread here about the layout.
With the IPS drives, I watched them walk it sideways up the fairway and that is awesome. They are taking the skill out of docking a boat which might be a good thing.
I went to spencer web site. It does 32kts at 39 gph. For a big diesel boat that is great. I may be wrong but I think the cabo 40 does 30kt'ish at 60 gph. I think the albemarle 41 is about the same. still no price tag.
it sold for alittle more than that and the guy who bought it put a deposit on a new 57 spencer and will sell the 43 when it is done in about 18 months.

Wish I could buy a million-dollar boat to hold me over until my 3 million-dollar boat was done being built

I agree. Hows the saying go? "I dont own a boat. I just have 'friends' who do."
Not too impressed with the layout of this boat from pics.Looks to have a small cockpit, with very little storage space,a flimsy looking "rocket launcer, and a cramped helm area.Could they build the radar pod any more bulbous? For this kind of money, their are better options,IMO.
Its a beautiful boat. Unlike mine (the 35' Calyber) the Paul Spencer doesn't use jack shafts and places the engines right over the IPS pods which gives it a nice second state room. In terms of cockpit space, the only thing I didn't like is that it has no fish boxes in the cockpit floor.
