Default Regulator

Ever look close up at a Regulator? Run, don't walk to your local dealer or boat show. The only flaw I could find was a "step" where it shouldn't be.

Depends on which model really, but I would say about 8" I guess.

Took a run in the 24 that was in the water. I now understand why people say what they do about the Regulators.

I like the 23, but my buddy that went to the show with me almost did a face plant off the step. Maybe you could put some warning tape on the edge. JK. Sure does make for deep boxes up front.

So how was the ride of the 24? I've always read here that does not ride as well as the 23.

A LOT more storage.

Capt Squid, no personal offense meant-- Original thread dealt with placement of the step. I have fished on the 23, 26, and 32 models. IMO the placement of the step on the 26 and it appears either the 24 or 29 in the pics is in a tough spot. Kinda 2/3rds up the console, I have caught it, or had to make an effort to "remember" it ( fighting fish and not)--as for my sea legs, they do the job just fine. I quess Im just used to boats with a flush deck. Apples and oranges to some.

Lovely boats but can't say I'm keen on the V piping in front of the windshield.

I love the Regulator line Only flaws are lack of fishing room(cockpit space) and transom depth...not as fishable as its competition...otherwise, beautiful piece of hardware

One question; why are the builders not using the sealed pump switches like these. They work way better.
