Random Quote: This is no democracy. However, I do like to hear any well thought out, reasonable suggestion. ONCE. (Bus Mosbacher, America's Cup Skipper)
Don't know how my Venture photos got all jumbled around (might have been the Scotch break just prior or maybe the bow thruster on a CC that threw me off)
I looked at the 34 and thought it was a joke. It had a half ass patch job on the bottom, the two storage boxes did not have drain covers (just holes drilled in the fiberglass).
In the console, the cover only had about 4 screws in it, and the wiring looked like my 12 year old daughter did it.
I don't know how good a Venture is but after that I didn't even sea trial it.

Silver bullet let me ask you, you mean to tell me that you wouldn't buy the boat because it didnt have a drain cover on the drain in the hatch? I suggest you ride on one and you won't ever say another harsh word about them again..Go find me another center console that even sits in the class of these boats.

Your 12 year old must have some serious wiring skills!
If you are talking about the access panel in the console, how may screws does it need? It is a non-structural, cosmetic cover. I have spent some time on 34's and have never noticed it rattling or seen them fall off. How many panels have you heard of falling apart?
Most boxes that I have seen don't have covers over the drain hole. Seems like most manufactures leave them open so that a plug can be placed in there. Are you harping on the lack of a sleeve?

ventureman34, I can think of one,can you? JK
Now that you mention it, the Sea Vee 39 was a nice boat.
Lazy Bones, well said..I have had two venture's now and never had a problem witht the panel in the console. And I agree with you on the Sea Vee 39 it looks nice..
I'm not saying that Ventures are bad boats, that one they had at the show was a joke.
The cover in the console has a screw about every 6 to 8 inches , most of them on that boat was gone.
It had a half ass patch job on the bottom.
Did anyone look at the wiring on THAT boat.
I am sure that Venture is a nice boat, I would not have taken that boat to the show unless it was finished.
Why was their not any covers over the drains?
And yes I did like the Sea Vee's.
I am talking about the boat that was at the show..
I was on the 34 venture in Miami and the only fault I could find was that I didn't like how the fish boxes drained and didn't have macerators, just a hole straight through the hull. Other than that though, there were very well finished off.
My buddy purchase a new venture last yr. and has had major problems with boat. gel coat issues, hardware etc.. The President of Venture laugh at him and said he would get back with him. My buddy was told that a bunch of doctors own the company and was trying to get in touch with any of them. It's been 3 months and no calls from venture.
Has anyone had or is having the same non-responsive (customer Service) from Venture Boats Palm Bch Fla
