Do there wiring guys do side work? I need my wiring to look like that.
I think he has a cage in back, if I were in his business, I wouldn't let them off the property.

yes yellowfins have fiberglass fuel tanks.

unless something has changed recently, they do not have fiberglass fuel tanks. the tanks are integral, in other words, the hull/deck IS the tank. I bet the reason their are no fish boxes in the rear of the 42 is due to this design feature (integral tanks).

kmac, you were right. Wylie has e-mailed me the following:

"fyi our fuel tanks are not integral anymore, they are fiberglass but are foamed in similar to aluminum. they are built using a resin that was designed for ethanol.

wylie"

This design issue was what turn me away a couple years ago. I have been thinking about selling my Regulator, if I do, Yellowfin is at the top of my list now. I simply love the lines on the boat.

Looking back over these pictures again (about the 10th time now) and I'm getting fired up. Got the email from Wylie last week that our 36 goes into assembly on Monday. My brothers and I are going to run down to the factory this week and make any last minute changes. This is what sets YF apart from so many other boat mfg's....the buying experience! We have waited a long time for this boat due to Suzuki's motor delays. We are ready to run the ballz off this boat!!

I have had many boats over the last 20 years and there is no boat that I have been in that compares to the ride and fishability. It is just an easy boat to run and fish. I bought my 34' in 2007 with twin 250 Yamaha's and have NO complaints. The 1/2 dozen little issues I had after purchase were taken care of immediately. You actually get quicker response from Wylie and Richard AFTER you have the boat in your posession. The entire operation is first class.
