Anyone know the captain in the first picture? I talked to him for awhile and he mentioned that he makes coolers...something like Engel that was on the boat only cheaper. I think he called them "frostbite." Nice photos Ludi.
Hey James, whats up? I was just talking to Alf the other day about your boat. Anyway, I'm sorry to say that this weekend I did not get to ride the Invincible! Last week while sitting at a Traffic light Rob was rear ended by a guy who was actually busy admiring his boat. He ended up messing up two of the lower units and the boat was not done in time to fish this weekend. So Rob borrowed a buddies 31 Jupiter and we fished on that instead. Was a real let down, but at least we caught a bunch of fish and had a blast. I did have the opportunity to pick Robs brain over a two day period about, everything and anthing about this new boat and bew boat design. I plan on posting later today some of the things I found out. One thing for sure, I'm heading back down in a month or two just to ride that thing evrything I learned Points to this being the perhaps the baddest center console available.
Either those guys are giants or that is the smallest 36' center console out there. Look at the bow shot and the transom shot with people in the pic?
Actually its the same size as the Yellowfin or Contender 36, with a 10 foot beam. The appearance in the picture is due to the fact that when the boat was desigined, there was a very important consideration. If you have ever fished out of a large Center console you know that the gunnel height in the front of the boat makes landing a fish all but impossible from up there. Not to mention you cant even lean over to reach the water. Capt. Rob had this boat designed with a "rasied" flush deck. This allows for more storage beneath the deck and a more user "fisher friendly" fore deck. Another optical illusion is because of the enlarged console. This cosnolse was designed to handle the largest electronics and have plenty of space inside. Please ask more questions, I'm telling you this boat is the $hit! I will post some of things I learned later! Trust me at 36 feet long with a 10 foot beam she's a big boat, its just the space has been more efficently used.

I thought the same from the pictures and from talking to some people that went on the boat at the show they said it felt like a very narrow 10' beam boat, other than that everyone one said it was a very nice boat.
I have followed the development of this boat since hull #1 was in the mold and it takes CC's to another level. They have put in time, money but most of all fishing experience to build the most complete fishing boat on the market. I did ride the 300xs boat at the show and it is the fastest, driest most fuel efficient large CC boat on the water. Speeds were over 75 mph with 6 people on board, burn was 1 mpg, burn at 55 was 1.5 mpg. At the show I looked at Fountain, Contender, SeaVee and Yellowfin to see how each differed, each had good and bad points. What Invincible has done is take all the good points and incorporated them all into their boat and put them on a completely new step hull design. Each boat is custom built so you can pick whatever extras you need; Fuel, ttop, leaning post, engines and set-up, if you want it they will do it. They are also gearing up for a 33 version, hull#1 is in the mold.
