Random Quote: If that was bad for you I would already be dead.
Included below are some photos taken during the show. During the two days their I was able to hang with several THT member friends like Anthem, Blue Magic, HMesa, SCB, GlenE, Scott and meet several others for the first time, what a blast!
New Albemarle 33 – Similar fishing space with a much smaller cabin compared to the 36 introduced last year.
Bluewater 2850 – We demoed a 2850 as well, our demo boat was powered by 250 Suzuki. IMO the 2850 is under-rated and generally unknown. It is has an outstanding ride and should be considered by anyone looking for a boat in this size range.
Backwater 24 – Check out the power on this 24 foot bay boat
Concept Sport – A change for the center console manufacture
Contender 38 – Too many ideas in one boat IMO
Invincible 36 – This was one of 5 boats we demoed at the show over the two day period. Much has been written on various forums about this boat in regard to top end speed, tournament loaded speed, fish-ability, borrowed ideas from Sea Vee, Yellowfin, Contender, etc. Like the four guys I was with we looked very much forward to a detailed inspection and of course our demo. I’ll let the photos show the details, etc.
Yellowfin Fleet – One of the other boats we demoed was the 34 YF, what a trill that was. It is interesting to compare the Invincible above to the Yellowfin 34/36 below.
That fish around yft is a great color and the wiring looks like someone takes some pride in there work

you were going to get a pic of us being pushed by those trip 300XS Optis
doing 75mph ?? What happen to the steady hand?
Quite a difference in the quality of the plumbing setups between tne 2 livewells. The first one is scary with the plastic valves, second one done right.
As you know I've been looking at the 29 Sea Vee, how would you compare the 2850 Bluewater against it and should I put it on my list of boats to try? Also is the Bluewater 3 piece construction ? What was the price on the Bluewater ?

I couldn't help but to notice the same thing. There is money in those S/S Ball valves. Super quality....

Thanks John
In terms of ride the Bluewater is superior, but then again it is a larger boat with an LOA over 30' including the bracket. The Bluewater is a 2 piece boat with a fishing area cut out, similar to a Grady White. The price loaded is under $135k. The Sea Vee is superior over the Bluewater in terms of a finished product. We ran one with 250's with 6 people, 3/4 fuel and ran 52 mph burning just 37 GPH. Thus it is quicker then a similar powered 29 Sea Vee. With 300's it is a reported to be a 60 mph boat. It is worth a look.
