Default Sunset on Chesapeake Bay Bridge/Tunnel Complex

My wife and I were coming back from NJ yesterdayand crossed the bridge just as the sun was setting.

My wife took these as we were motoring along at 55.

That's beautiful, just passed through there a few weeks ago. We don't go north on 95 anymore, I head up 17 to Norfolk just to go across the bridge/tunnel....nice ride!

Nice shot. Here is the Mrs and I from the underside of the CBBT Aug 06 at sunset trying for drum that we didn't get that night.

What's the toll on that thing now? I haven't been across it in years. That shot brings back memories. Never did like heights that much.

$12.00 to cross.

I've fished the bridge and Eastern Shore Islands many years ........ 21 to be exact. People just don't realize just how great the fishing is ....... there is some great tarpon fishing there in addition to all the other spieces available.

Brought back some terrrific memories for sure!

I would guess that shot was taken just after leaving the tube at the third island headed toward the second?
