Default Turtle

It's not exactly a fish picture but I thought it was kinda cool and some of the THT'rs might as well.
Took this shot in Barbados early this spring. Had the Mrs. down there on a cruise celibrating an anniversary.
They came to the boat to be fed. Got right in the water with them. Happy New Year to all

Long time ago I tried to hitch a ride on the back of a big hawksbill while scuba-diving.
It tried to live up to its name by an attempted 'finger removal'
when it twisted it verrry flexible neck around and snapped at my hands..

I got the message and got off its back in a hurry!

Never seen sea turtles so conditioned to being fed by humans they approach for handouts

I have - albeit at the turtle farm in Grand Cayman, three weeks ago - I'm sure they'd have taken the food right out of my hand but I wanted to be able to count to ten after the encounter...........
