Default Jack's first dolphin

The boys had been excited to say the least so I "volenteered" to get them out of the house, so offshore we would go Christmas Eve. Seas were 2, a few 3's not bad at all but the blue water was nowhere to be found off PE. We trolled out to 800', I was not paying too much attention, went back to adjust a rod and noticed a 20 International was completely stripped and the line was down to the knot! :eek3: Something had hit it and stripped it as we were going along merrily on our way. Stopped the boat, Gregg jumped on the rod and wound what seemed like 1000yds of 20lb back only to have whatever it was get loose. Have to make sure that clicker is on.
Finally get a knockdown and Jack is up, he cranks up his first dolphin solo and is pumped.

That was it for the morning, the boys caught a bunch of stuff at the dock including this, looks like a large mudskipper? Didn't know they got that big. What is it?

Toadfish(Opsanus beta). Never put your finger in their mouth........don't ask me how I know this. Found that out the hard way when I was six years old.

Dude, sweet. How old's the kid? I have never taken mine out fishing in the ocean, but I am dying to do so. DoubleD, where do you keep your boat? Is it in Harbor Village? Looks real familiar.
