I noticed that also, when I reduced the amount of reducer, and while painting the side of the boat in direct sunlight, there was little or no need at all to tip the "stipple" with a brush.....the foam roller worked perfect on its own. Good point It seemed to me, that the more reducer, the more bubbles....

Scott, I rolled the topsides of a go-fast I owned 10 years ago. It turned out.....ok. It is all in the prep.
