Random Quote: Vegetarian, Indian term for a bad fisherman
I did this last fall/winter and got a good response. These photos were all taken on Buzzards Bay or at Cuttyhunk this past summer. I had a many good memories with my mom and dad aboard our boat in the Abacos-especially Marsh Harbor. Cuttyhunk is our equal to getting away to the Islands here in MA. The Vineyard and Nantucket are ok.... but my idea of going to an island is a place where there is very little going on and we can go barefoot for the weekend. My two boys(5 and 7) live to fish and go out on the boat. We spent many a weekends in the cuddy cabin of our 25 contender with 2 kids and two adults. It is amazing how that small cabin can bring a family together! Some other photos of a few fish caught aboard the boat as well.
As well as a photos of the admiral and the boys before we went to Jimmy Buffet concert together this summer!
Enjoy!
Salty -
Saw your rig heading up towards Boston - tan Suburban w/BuzzBayAnglersClub logo on it?-lsat week. Was gonna give a big THT wave as I drove by until I saw it was your wife driving and thought better of it.
Great photos - brings back lots of Cuttyhunk memories from the summer - cant wait till next year, I'll stop by and introduce myself.

Yeah thats our rolling billboard for the club! Everyone waves to her with that truck-no worries. We have crossed paths here before. Maybe next summer we should have a a get togther!
Would be nice to do a THT get together on Cutty. Have seen a few members over the past season either coming or going there-sblunden and his wife in their Sabre 36, one of the guys in a wellcraft 290 coastal - studlet I think, Barry (inaforty) in his Rosborough, and I'm sure I've seen your contender in the past.

Same thing Parapapam-my kids are always looking for new buddies - helps us out too to have the kids have things to do. Post 50 - I'll keep an eye out for your rig next year - my son would die if he got a tour of your boat. I met an old friend last year with his Bertram 54 and got a tour but MAtty missed it - he has'nt forgoven me yet!
We'll have to remember for next season - look forward to meeting more of you folks.

4 in a cuddy cabin. Now THAT is dedication! As soon as the first was born we high tailed it out of the cuddy cabin,
sacrificed alot speed, & got something much larger that smelled like diesel. The 'close the door' head & a completely independent cabin for the kids was an easy trade off for the loss of speed.
GF,
Thats funny. GF are my initials. It is a bit cramped-my wife is a trooper. My boys and I did a weekend on the boat when she was away for the weekend and there was a bit more room!
Karen and I really enjoyed the pictures. Sure beats looking outside seeing snow (yuck!).
Hope you don't mind but I would like to add a little extra to the thread. Here is a video from a trip to Cuttyhunk late in the season. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OCsEtjZsTI
Does eveyone remember this at the end of October? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gThqfp48oA
Love the addition to the tread! We are usually down on one of tiltons pilings as we dont draw much and its a few bucks cheaper...
We always have Buffet on in the background while swiming or grilling. 6 months more till we head back to Cuttyhunk. Sounds like we could have a nice raft up over there next summer.

Thanks for the pics on a snowy day with my kids listening to Xmas music outside my office door. Cuttyhunk is our favorite spot, we spent many weekends there this summer on the pilings, I'm sure our boat would be in the background of some of your pics.
Next summer be sure to look for "Barnicole"- the 2 kids, 2 dogs, and the 2 of us are usually just hanging out, come over and say hi.
Great pic of the kids and pups. I did alot of boating in Falmouth and kept my boat at pier 37 and in green pond. I miss the boating in and around vineyard sound. Lots of places to go and visit. We find oursleves heading over there more and more to visit our old stomping grounds. Cuttyhunk is hard to beat though if you are looking for peace and quiet.
George.
