Beautiful boat. I've always been a fan of light blue hull sides. Interesting layout in that boat. Very innovative looking. I really like what I see coming from Sailfish these days.
Question: I noticed you live in NY and your making the transition from a center console, to a walkaround. Mind if I ask why you have decided to make that change? Would it be for additional weather protection, or, more space to stow gear, or the need for sleeping quarters? The reason I ask is because I live in the north as well, I currently own a walkaround, and I some times think that maybe I should have a center console. But I don't want to switch, then regret my decision. I'm always going back an forth on that decision.

Nice rig. Congrats. Can you describe that port companion/lounge seat? Is there a flip up seat that creates a rear facing lounge? The helm looks like it will have great visibility with the step up.
Any cabin pics?
Also, if it were my boat, I'd want a couple of blocks under the keel. That is a lot of weight in a small area on those stands. Just a coupld of cbs under the transom would take a ton (literally) of weight off those stands.
Wow!
I really like the way the seating and walkaround is set up. You must be jumping up and down. Hopefully this winter will go by quickly for you (I don't think any of us would mind if it went by quickly also).
The reason for switching is for the weather elements and comfort. I really love my CC but getting up early in the morning during October and November to fish is no fun in a CC. I fished on my buddies WAC early spring and late fall this year and really enjoyed it.
The other reason I went with the WAC is that my brother just purchased the Southport 28TE cc. This way we could fish with both a CC and WAC.
GWcpa - There is flip up seat that could be used as a rear facing lounge seat. Flip it down and it could be used as forward facing seat.
Congrats on the new boat....keep us up-to-date on the progress with the electronics....and more photo's of the new rig......What did you do with the CC..........and great thinking about having two boats for fishing...it's the best of both worlds......good luck and stay safe....
