Hey Eric,

Congrats on the new boat. Looks like a great platform and I know the dealer service at K&K is top notch. Hopefully I will finally see you out on the water! What is the name of the new boat going to be?

Matt,

Still thinking of a name.

My brother ordered the Southport 28TE this weekend.

Are you still out there or packed it in for the year.

Hey Eric,

I am headed out tomorrow morning before work. From what I hear long beach is now crawling with bait...this maybe the last 2 weeks of the 1st year with the southport...need to catch that cow..

Simrad has the best bang for the buck on combination displays. You can get radar added to your chart plotter/depth sounder for much less than everyone else's offerings from what I've seen. I can't speak for quality because that's just what I've seen in catalogs.
