I've been trying to figure out what I wanted to add to my boat next. That movie theater gives me an idea!

something is fishy here! some of these pics are exactly the same as greg norman's boat aussie rules...

http://www.shark.com/aussierules/photogal/index.php

may have to hit refresh to get the pics to cycle. the movie room and master stateroom are identical.

That boat is Greg Normans old boat. I saw it in Newport this summer and didn't recognize it without the sportfish on the back. Norman sold it to the guy who owns the Miami Dolphins, who then made some modifications and renamed the boat. The thing is unbelievable!

That boat is presently at anchor in the Severn River in Annapolis (or it was as of Saturday).

He should have done a "Help me name my boat" thread here. We could have done much better than Floridian. That's a pretty weak name.

Wayne Huizinga, what a moron. I hope the thing springs a leak. Just so everyone understands why I don't like him; he did a few things that were not very model Floridian. First he renamed Joe Robbie Stadium after a jock strap company (who went under a few months later). Second, Joe Robbie built that stadium out of his own pocket, while Wayne was trying to get the public to build him a new baseball stadium. Third he gutted the first Florida Marlins World Series team the week after they won the tittle. I wonder if he'll ever get the message most South Floridians think he's a putz?

THE FLORIDIAN was at a dock in Portland Maine on July 22nd when I was there ordering from Jay my new Blacklab Marine plate alloy boat.
And I too took a picture.

That baby gets around.

Here in Jacksonville Florida we have a monster ship yard that does alot of mega-yacht maintenance. They all seem to have either huge Pursuit DENALI's or INTREPID'S as dingy's?
Because they are expensive and stylish, I'd guess.

Tiger Wood's boat was here during the T.P.C. & Bill Gates' buddy and CEO(?) in the Octopuss one of the largest in the world from what I gather.

Not for sale in the US or to US citizens is to avoid the importation tax, US citizens just set up an offshore company and flag it to that state. By the way I hear rumors that it is for sale, Wayne thinks it is too big, also Wayne is not trying to build a baseball stadium as he does not own the Marlins.

Not anymore, ownership went from bad to worse.

The reason the two boats look alike is because they are the same boat. Hyzinga (SP?) bought Normans boat and renamed it.

But does anyone know why he called it the "Floridian"...I do. His very exclusive golf course which is located on the north side of martin county (Florida) is called the Floridian. During one of his expansions he wanted to put in a helicopter pad in so he could fly in, his request was denied by the zoning department. So what do people do with money, they find ways around the rules. He bought the "Aussie Rules" and retrofitted it with the helicopter pad which he then parks at the marina of the Floridian. And every time he flies in to play golf he says "Martin county, up yourssss."
