Default New to boating. Funny how things work out.

I have a close friend that recently retired, has summered here at the shore his entire life (65 years). Aside from our sunset cruises, in all those years he's told me he probably can count on his fingers how many times he'd even been on a boat. I convinced him to take his new (first) puppy to the sandbar himself on the Whaler last fall (it's about 200yards from the dock).. This year by August, he was burning on average 16 gallons of fuel a week! That's a fair amount of running for 13 Whaler with a 25! Last night he told me he's ready to move up! Wants to make his wife is comfortable and can take out his new (first) grandson. Altho I bought that little boat for the GF's 16Y.O. daughter (zero interest), I ended up just as gratified with the outcome.

Just take him to the Cape Horn store and he will be happy

Now if he only wants to buy one boat that will last for ever tell him to call Jay at Blacklabmarine.com

I think he's smarter than a heck of a lot of experienced people that haven't looked at the Parker another of my friends has for sale (I have it listed here). I put it in this weekend for him to putt around on and burn off the 2005 fuel that's in it... My bet this will be his new ride:

ubettcha... Motor on that Whaler look familiar? Hasn't missed a beat!
